PROGRAMME 01 · DOMESTIC EXCHANGE
Intra-India Program
The Intra-India Programme is a novel Indian extension of the Experiment idea. This programme involves participants from one part of the country visiting another distant part, not as tourists but as members of selected families.
Educational travel of the region is also arranged for these persons in order to give them a feel for the local culture, historical places and developmental projects in the area.
Intra-India Programmes are generally organised during summer and other long vacations when students are free from school or college. The Experimenters travel either in groups or as individuals.

PROGRAMME 02 · INTERNATIONAL HOSTING
Inbound Program
Through the Experiment, groups of individuals from foreign countries come to stay in India for a short stay or even for a period of few weeks. They come not as tourists, but as members of our EIL family, aiming to understand our way of life, and prepared to participate in its day-to-day course.
Through our efforts they learn about us and our country from within. Before arriving in India an Experimenter is oriented for their participation in the programme.
Foreign Experimenters get an opportunity to have a first-hand interaction with the culture of a foreign land. In a successful Experiment, such close bonds of affection are forged that they endure long after the programme is over.

PROGRAMME 03 · GLOBAL RECIPROCAL EXCHANGE
Outbound Program
Experiment organisations in other countries reciprocate by offering similar programmes including homestays and educational travel in their respective nations.
Out-bound Indian Experimenters, like Inbound foreign Experimenters, are carefully oriented for their stay and encouraged to acquire basic knowledge of the country and the people they will visit.
Every Indian Experimenter is expected to be a good “Ambassador” for India to the family and community welcoming them in their country of visit.

PROGRAMME 04 · ACADEMIC & FAMILY SUPPORT
Foreign Student Services
The Foreign Students Service of the Indian Experiment is designed for international students coming to India for extended studies over a prolonged period.
It serves a 3-fold core function:

Helping foreign students familiarize themselves with local customs, manners, and conditions by associating them with an Indian Family.

Helping students make friends, widen their social circle, and adjust to life in India.

Creating opportunities to develop lasting bonds of attachment that remain long after returning home.
Assistance includes stay near university towns before sessions commence, guidance with personal queries, invitations to celebrate festive Indian occasions with families, and seminar discussions on Indian culture.

Voluntary Programmes for all ages

Education Outside the Classroom
Learn To Live — By Living Together
This “experiment” has been running successfully for decades. It is a process of learning without any syllabus or books — a practical way of learning that does not happen inside a classroom.
Imagine living in a world where people understand and respect one another, irrespective of caste, creed or colour. This becomes possible only when we live together.
